About Hedeyo Nakazawa (profile)
I was born in Nagoya, Japan, and was graduated from Maeze secondary school, where Midori Itou, a famous winter Olympic medalist graduated from. (But of course no personal acquaintance)
When I was in year 10, I asked my parents to send me to America for a month during the summer vacation. I cut across American continent by coach. I was so amazed by the vastness of America, and promise myself that one day l definitely come back here to study. I went on to selective school, however failed university´s exam. After studying at Kawai preparatory school, I finally went to Tokyo to enroll to the university.
Because my university was located along Tobu Tojyou line, people call my uni ”Dasaitama” (tacky Ssitama), I made frequent appearances around Ikebukuro. At that time, I often run through a moving underpass, which leads me to the Sunshine 60 building, which was just constructed. Also, sometimes I went to Shinjyuku to see tall buildings.
I went to Griffith University in Queensland as an exchange student for one year, when I was in junior year. To be honest, I wanted to go to America, but my uni had a partnership agreement with Australian university, so I changed my mind. Instead of studying hard, I spend all my weekends in uni pub, drinking xxxx. My liking of beer has been started from this time.
During the long summer vacation, I bought Anset´s 2 months coach ticket and traveled half around Australia with my backpack. I went to Cairns (In those days, there were no towering hotel like now, and seemed like a country town in the tropical island), Port Douglas (It was a fishing port in a small country town), Canberra, Melbourne, Tasmania, Adelaide, Alice Springs and Ayers Rock. Because I couldn´t use my coach ticket in Tasmania, I hitchhike for about 10 days. Between Launceston and Bicheno was a mountain road, there were not many cars passing by. I finally find a sheep track, and asked a driver to give a lift. We took break at a pub, and the driver shouted me a glass of beer. People in Tasmania were so kind. The next car was waiting for me, when I was dropped of by the sheep track. Ayers Rock was so amazing. I have never seen such an immense monolith. I strongly recommend you to visit there once in a lifetime.
I successfully graduated from uni after four years of study. I became a dispatched representative of extra-departmental body of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and sent to a Japanese Consulate in Sydney for two years. I got my second opportunity to stay in Australia. I went back to Japan once after the termination of a term. During my stay in Japan, I had been applying for a business visa, but it wasn´t granted. I gave up going back to Australia. My company applied the visa for me, but I regretted about not having a lawyer.
After that I did job hunting in Japan, but thinking of having a satiable life, I sat for a certificate examination for teachers and got a teacher´s certificate. I was teaching at secondary school in Tokyo. However, it was really hard for me to give up my dream of going back to Australia, so I secretly continued job hunting in Australia, and luckily, I got a position in jewelry duty free shop. I came back to Australia in August 1989 as the third time´s the charm. Since then, I did a sales representative at jewelry duty free shop; worked for travel agency (My role was mainly arranging a tour for the tourist from Japan), did sales representative and administration at English language school and university related study company. In 2002, I got a position in Brett Li & Associates and got a migration agent qualification. In 7th July 2008, I established a company, and in 1st Oct 2008, I opened my new office in Townhall, Sydney, up to the present date.
While I was working at a school, I was asked a lot of questions from students. Their questions included how can I stay Australia longer, how can I work here and how can I get a PR. Through this experience, I strongly thought that I need to have accurate knowledge about visa. So I study hard about migration law, and got a qualification from the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA). Since then, I have been dealing with more than 400 cases.
Because everyone is in a different visa application situation, I always keep in mind that which visa is most easy for the person to get, and how the person can get the visa through detailed consultation. As one of the grate Australian lover, I try all my best to assist all my clients´ happiness, who is also a great Australian lover, by my great homer.
Interest: golf, professional baseball (of course I support Dragons), moviegoing music appreciation (jazz, classic). Recently I start playing classical guitar.
