Universities

There are approximately 40 universities in Australia, and except two private universities (University of Notre Dame Australia and Bond University) most of them are public universities. All of the universities offer a high level of education, and only few educational gaps existing between Australian universities. Australian universities are well known as their high academic performance all over the world, and 5 to 10 universities are constantly nominated in the ranking of world´s top 100 universities. As Australian universities are adopting English university systems, major faculties (Faculty of Arts, Science, Economy and Business) have 3 years of course length, and have a feature of early graduation. However some specialized faculty (Faculty of Medicine and technology) are the exceptions.
