Temporary Residence Visa

Temporary visa includes business visa, student visa and tourist visa. Also a visa which requires different types of sponsors, depending on the purpose of the stay, is also categorized as temporary visa. These visas includes long and short stay business visa, sponsored training visa, regional employment visa, special programs visa, visiting academic visa, educational visa and entertainment visa.

Long stay business visa

If you are sponsored by an Australian or overseas company, you are able to work up to 4 years at that company. 3 levels of assessments are required in this visa, including company assessment, position assessment and visa applicant’s assessment.

Short stay business visa

Short stay business visa allows you to stay in Australia for the purpose of attending meetings, business related negotiations, exhibitions, short term projects or events. However, musical activities and filming are not included. Under this visa condition, you must not stay in Australia over 3 months, and are not allowed to work in Australia.

Student visa

Student visa allows you to study in Australia. You are eligible to work up to 20 hours per week.

Tourist visa

Tourist visa designed for people from overseas to visit Australia for the purpose of sightseeing and visiting family and friends who are living in Australia. Under this visa condition, you are not eligible to work in Australia.
